The Living Legacy Foundation (LLF) of Maryland was named one of Baltimore’s Top Workplace in a recent survey. Nearly 120 businesses and organizations entered the first annual competition hosted by The Baltimore Sun. LLF ranked 22nd out of the 70 participating small businesses.

"It's an honor to be recognized by The Baltimore Sun as a Top Workplace. This award demonstrates how well our employees work together, the camaraderie felt throughout the system and our continued focus on providing excellent quality of care for organ and tissue donors and their families,” said Charlie Alexander, president and CEO of The Living Legacy Foundation, a non-profit organization which helps facilitate the donation and recovery of human organs and tissues for transplantation and research along with providing advocacy, family support and comprehensive public and professional education.

Employees were asked to measure their employer on a variety of topics including direction, execution, career, conditions, managers, benefits, and engagement.

LLF offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that is highly competitive. Benefits include a health, vision and dental plan, as well as life and disability insurance. In addition, employees have the opportunity to participate in a 401K program, flexible spending accounts and an employee assistance program. LLF also offers tuition reimbursement, discounts with local organizations, free parking and a liberal paid time-off program. Most importantly, working at The Living Legacy Foundation offers employees an opportunity to work with one of the leading organ and tissue procurement agencies in the country and with a team whose dedication to saving lives is unmatched.
