The Donor Memorial Quilts commemorate the lives of those who have given the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation. These quilts travel throughout Maryland, honoring the memory of generous donors and raising public awareness about the life-saving power of donation.

The LLF’s first Donor Memorial Quilt was started in 2001. Since then, as new squares are added, the quilts grow. No two squares are the same; each is as unique as the individual it was created for, all held together by the common thread of love.

Want to make a patch of your own to add to the quilt?

Our 25th annual Ceremony of Remembrance will feature a photo slideshow of digital quilt squares to honor organ, eye, tissue, and in-spirit donors. If you would like to submit a digital quilt square in honor of your loved one, please review our guidelines and fill out the form below no later than Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

*Memorial quilt squares will only be accepted electronically this year. We encourage families to save any physical squares for pinning at the next Ceremony of Remembrance.*
