The LLF's Hospital Services Team works directly with healthcare professionals to build a donation culture within hospitals and other healthcare institutions to understand the donation process initiatives. We provide on-site education through unit-based in-services, special events, regular rounding, and one-on-one coaching.
Throughout the year, providers and other healthcare professionals can participate in other educational forums including our Donor Champion Training, our Hospital Partners Conference, simulation training, and additional events held in hospitals across the state.
Our team is dedicated to assisting our hospital partners with maintaining hospital compliance with The Joint Commission policies, CMS Conditions of Participation, Maryland's Uniform Anatomical Gift Act, and the Amoss Act regarding donation. We value the partnerships we have with our hospital and healthcare partners. Our Hospital Services Coordinators are here to assist with questions, performance metrics, process improvement, education, and any other needs related to the donation program.
