Join us for a Donate Life Flag Raising in April
We regret to share that all hospital Donate Life flag raising events during April have been cancelled to protect the health and safety of our community amidst COVID-19.
This decision has been made in accordance with Governor Hogan's executive order banning gatherings of 10+ people and will also ensure that hospital staff can continue to focus their attention on saving and healing lives during this pandemic.
Please join us for a virtual flag raising hosted by The LLF on Wednesday, April 1, at noon.
This event will be livestreamed via The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland’s (The LLF) Facebook and Instagram Stories to honor the many generous organ, eye, tissue, in-spirit, research, and living donors who give the gifts of life, hope, and healing. Tune in at 12 p.m. when we will raise the flag and hear remarks from The LLF's CEO and President, Charlie Alexander. If you are unable to join us live for the virtual event, the video will remain available on our Facebook page for later viewing.
As part of the national initiative, “Flags Across America,” The LLF proudly partners with our Maryland hospitals to fly the Donate Life flag throughout the month of April to raise awareness for donation and to honor our generous donors, donors in spirit, and their families.
