Director, Human Resources
Nicole has worked with The Living Legacy Foundation since 2010. Nicole and her team have the primary responsibility for all strategic human resources functions in the 150+ employee operation. The HR team is committed to a range of tasks, such as employee and leadership development, training, talent and performance management, engagement, employee relations, and organizational development.
Nicole, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, has worked in the Human Resources field for over 11 years. Before joining The LLF, she worked at the Target Corporation with the Headquarters HR team in a number of roles, including a Human Resources Business Partner and a Senior Executive Recruiter. Over the course of her tenure at Target, Nicole delivered several team and corporate accomplishments focused on organizational change efforts.
Nicole is an active member of the Association of Organ Procurement Organization, serving as co-chair for the HR Council in 2011-2012 and in a chair capacity for 2012-2013. Nicole is also a motivated participant of the Society for Human Resource Management, the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management, as well as a member of the Chesapeake Human Resources Association.
Nicole graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business Administration at High Point University. She also gained a dual master's degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from Appalachian State University. She is also certified as a Human Resource Professional through HRCI and a HR Certified Professional through SHRM.
